Community Fundraiser Vacancy

We are looking for an experienced confident part-time Community Fundraiser to join our friendly team.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Community Fundraiser to develop and grow income through a range of fundraising activities. You will have a proven track record of generating substantial income, motivating and enthusing individuals and groups in both the voluntary and commercial sectors.

This is a new role and therefore offers a great opportunity to develop a creative fundraising strategy for the Charity, developing community events which raise our profile and funds.

This is a part-time role, 15 hours per week which will be deployed flexibly (including weekends and evenings) to meet the demands of the role.

You will have a current valid driving licence and your own transport (business mileage paid).

Salary: £25,000 FTE

About us…

Horsham Matters Ltd is a charity set up by Horsham Churches Together (HCT) to deliver projects that provide practical support to those who are in need across the Horsham District. Our delivery includes:

· Our Charity Superstore, Redkiln Way, Horsham which sells donated furniture, electrical items, household goods etc. Donated items are received and sorted by staff and volunteers at our Donation Centre in Blatchford Road.

· Crisis support to Horsham residents through delivery of the District’s Foodbanks; Community Meal; provision of furniture to those moving in to temporary/permanent accommodation and the winter Night Shelter
