Do You Need Help?

Foodbank Fuel Vouchers Furniture

There are three main ways that Horsham Matters may be able to help you.

1) If you need food

You will need to get a red foodbank voucher from a referral agency first. There are dozens of these throughout Horsham District, including Citizens Advice, Children and Family Centres, Saxon Weald and other housing associations, Think Family, NHS services and church offices. Once you have a voucher you can then exchange these for a food parcel at any of the four foodbanks in the district, details of which can be found here.

2) If you have run out of gas or electric on your fuel meter

You may be eligible for a fuel voucher if you are going through some sort of crisis. To find out call Ruth or Christy on 0300 124 0204 or click here for more information about getting some help under the Local Assistance Network scheme (LAN).

3a) If you need some furniture

As above, if you need a bed to sleep on or a wardrobe, sofa or other items of furniture and have no other help available to you we may be able to help under the Local Assistance Network scheme (LAN). To find out, call Ruth or Christy on 0300 124 0204 or click here for more information.

3b) In addition, if you don’t have a cooker, fridge or perhaps a washing machine

We are unable to provide white goods for everyone but it may be that you qualify for help under the Local Assistance Network scheme (LAN). To find out, call Ruth or Christy on 0300 124 0204 or click here for more information.
