David grew up in Horsham and came back to work in the town after going to university. Following redundancy, after 20 years in the telecoms industry, he went to work for Citizens Advice and whilst there helped set up Horsham Matters in 2008, taking up the role of Chief Executive in 2010.
He was a District Councillor from 2003 to 2015 and a County Councillor from 2009 to 2017. He is on the Board of the Furniture Re-use Network, a national charity supporting over 200 re-use charities and is a member of Brighton Road Baptist Church in Horsham.
Ken has been a Horsham resident and member of Brighton Road Baptist Church for over 20 years, during which time he has served as a youth leader and as a member of the church leadership team. Ken’s commercial experience spans over 25 years in sales & marketing and he is currently a director of an event management business here in Horsham.

Paula has lived in Horsham over 30 years and attends Brighton Road Baptist Church. She works as an accountant for a local charity and previously in the commercial sector. Likes to get away from the computer at weekends!
A member of St Mary’s Horsham for 40 + years; Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex and JP; lots of experience in the criminal justice system (NB – not as a criminal); serial committee member; loves to sing in choirs.
Deacon Tom Murray
Chose to leave Boots after 28years service with nothing to move on to – a leap of faith or a mid-life crisis reaction? My only thought was to work in an area that ‘made a contribution to the society in which I live’.
Little did I realise that it would lead me into church ministry!
In hindsight I have realised that God was at the centre of all that was happening to me and he has brought me to where I am to serve Him in my new-found ministry.
I was given a few years ago a tee-shirt with the words ‘Relax, God is in control’ and the quotation ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding’ (Proverbs 3: 5) How true!
Love sport especially cricket, football and rugby – all armchair activities nowadays.
Enjoy working on my allotment where in the peace and quiet surroundings and working with the soil of the earth I feel God’s presence.
Bryan has lived in Horsham for 16 years and is a member of the Christian Life Centre. He works part time as the Development Worker for Horsham Churches Together, which represents 32 churches in Horsham District, and which resourced Horsham Matters being established. The rest of the time Bryan works as an IT consultant for his own business, Jireh-Tek Limited.
Bryan has been the Chair of Trustees for a number of Christian charities over the past 30 years and is delighted to be able to support Horsham Matters fantastic work in the Horsham Community as a member of its Board of Trustees.
